Dental
Bridge A bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by joining an artificial tooth definitively to adjacent teeth or dental implants

What is Dental Bridge?

Dental Bridges are fixed prosthetic devices attached to natural teeth or dental implants. It bridges the gap created by one or more missing teeth.

Why do I need a Dental Bridge?

Dental bridges are commonly used to replace one or more missing teeth. They span the space where the teeth are missing. Bridges are cemented to the natural teeth or dental implants surrounding the empty space.

Gaps are not encouraged to be left empty because it may cause remaining teeth to rotate or shift into the empty spaces, resulting in misalignment of teeth.

How are Dental Bridge made?

A dental impression is first made after the teeth are prepared. This provides a replica of the teeth for fabrication of the bridge which will be ready in 1-2 weeks. A temporary bridge will be issued while waiting for the permanent dental bridge.

Once the dental bridge is fabricated, it is permanently cemented in place, it will instantly restore your teeth to its original and natural shape.

How long do Dental Bridge last?

Dental bridge can last a lifetime with excellent care. The most important step you can take to ensure the longevity of your bridge is to practice good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups.
